- Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions tailored to clients' unique needs, including those with autism, PTSD, addiction issues, or disabilities.
- Engage in crisis intervention when urgent mental health concerns arise, ensuring client safety and appropriate follow-up care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including social workers, medical staff, educators, and caregivers—to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain detailed and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations while documenting patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Participate in research initiatives or clinical studies aimed at advancing mental health practices and improving patient outcomes.
- Offer telehealth services to increase accessibility for clients unable to attend in-person sessions.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations for inpatient and outpatient populations across various age groups—pediatrics to geriatrics—ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution; licensure as a Psychologist is required.
- Proven experience working with children and families in clinical settings; supervision experience is a plus.
- Strong background in crisis intervention techniques and managing acute mental health episodes.
- Experience working within hospital environments or inpatient/outpatient facilities preferred.
- Proficiency in delivering cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychotherapy, group therapy, and behavioral health interventions.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to medical records management and patient confidentiality.
- Skilled in conducting psychological testing, intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and patient care planning.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms to provide remote counseling services effectively.
- Ability to work with diverse populations including individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD, addiction issues, disabilities, geriatrics, pediatrics, or social work backgrounds. Join us in transforming lives through compassionate mental health care!
