2nd Shift Crate Builder
Location: Port of Catoosa
Join our dynamic team at a leading provider of specialized packing, shipping, and logistics services. As a 2nd Shift Crate Builder, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our clients' supply chain operations.
Job Summary:
As a 2nd Shift Crate Builder, you will be responsible for the construction and assembly of high-quality wooden crates and containers. Working as part of a dedicated logistics team, you will ensure that our clients' goods are securely packaged and ready for shipping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and assemble wooden components to build sturdy crates and containers
- Utilize hand and power tools to complete construction tasks efficiently and accurately
- Inspect completed crates for quality and compliance with specifications
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of packaged goods
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support a safe and productive work environment
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in carpentry, construction, or a related field
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools and be able to read a tape measure.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Willingness to work flexible 2nd shift hours
Working Conditions:
This position involves physical work in a warehouse environment. You will be required to stand for extended periods, lift and move heavy materials, and operate machinery. Appropriate personal protective equipment will be provided.
