Direct Hire Header Sub Arc Welder - Day, Night and Weekend Shifts available.Â

Job Summary:
As a Header Sub Arc Welder, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing and fabrication operations. Utilizing your expertise in submerged arc welding (SAW) and automatic welding techniques, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds on a variety of metal components and assemblies. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to read and interpret blueprints will be essential in ensuring the successful completion of each project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform submerged arc welding (SAW) and automatic welding on metal components and assemblies
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication
- Measure and mark workpieces using a tape measure and other measuring tools
- Operate and maintain welding equipment, including grinders, to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve any welding-related issues
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a submerged arc welder or automatic welder
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Skilled in the use of welding equipment, including grinders and other fabrication tools
- Ability to read and interpret tape measures and other measurement devices
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and a collaborative team environment
Working Conditions:
This position will be based in our manufacturing facility in the Los Angeles, CA area. The work environment is an industrial shop setting, which may involve exposure to noise, dust, and other physical demands associated with welding and fabrication tasks. A valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 to $65,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
