Responsibilities
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist in Service Engineering to drive end-to-end service delivery across our infrastructure platforms. This role focuses on operational excellence, automation, resilience, and lifecycle governance. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in infrastructure technologies, a strong understanding of ITIL practices, and a passion for building scalable, reliable services that enable business success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Design & Architecture
- Define and implement infrastructure services across compute, storage, network, and cloud platforms.
- Partner with architecture, operations, and application teams to develop resilient and scalable service solutions.
- Maintain service roadmaps, lifecycle plans, and integration patterns.
- ITIL-based Service Management
- Actively participate in ITIL-aligned processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration, and Release Management.
- Contribute to root cause analysis and post-incident reviews, and support continuous service improvement (CSI) initiatives.
- Automation & Operations
- Coordinate the development and maintenance of infrastructure-as-code, self-healing routines, and automated runbooks using tools such as Ansible, Terraform,or PowerShell.
- Drive proactive monitoring, alerting, and observability improvements.
- Ensure capacity planning and infrastructure optimization.
- Governance & Lifecycle Management
- Maintain accurate service documentation and CMDB records.
- Lead service catalog management efforts, ensuring service definitions,and tiers are aligned with business goals.
- Ensure infrastructure services comply with security, and internal policy standards.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Act as a technical liaison between service engineering, infrastructure operations, product owners, and external partners.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, operations, or service delivery.
- Deep knowledge of service management principles
- Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure components (e.g., servers, networking, storage, cloud platforms).
- Understanding of automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with monitoring platforms (e.g.,Solarwinds, ScienceLogic) and incident response processes.
- Proven ability to create deployment documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
- Excellent cross-functional communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ITIL v4 certification (Foundation or higher).
- Experience in Service Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles.
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM/CMDB tools
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or large-scale migrations.

Requirements
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
