Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Manager, Consumer Experience Wayfinding to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, implementing, and managing intuitive wayfinding solutions that enhance user experiences in various healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conducting Site Surveys:
    • Assess the environment through thorough site surveys to gather essential information and create strategies.
    • Identify key points of interest and areas with high traffic flow to inform wayfinding solutions.
  1. Designing Effective Wayfinding Systems:
    • Develop wayfinding systems tailored to the facilities needs and site assessments, focusing on creating a clear visual hierarchy using the company's wayfinding standards.
    • Select appropriate strategy to ensure easy navigation.
  1. Collaboration with Other Professionals:
    • Work closely with architects, interior designers, graphic designers, fabricators ,operators and clinical teams to integrate wayfinding systems seamlessly into the overall environment.
    • Utilize strong interpersonal skills to communicate design concepts and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  1. Staying Updated with Industry Trends:
    • Keep abreast of the latest trends in wayfinding, materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into projects.
  1. Ensuring Compliance with Regulations:
    • Guarantee that all wayfinding designs adhere to relevant regulations, including accessibility requirements and safety standards.
    • Conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with local laws and standards.
  1. Project Management:
    • Manage all aspects of wayfinding projects from conception to completion, including creating timelines and managing budgets.
    • Oversee the fabrication and installation process, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Requirements

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
    degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Additional Preferences

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • Proven experience in graphic design and environmental graphic design projects, with a strong portfolio.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and CAD software.
  • Strong understanding of spatial design, human factors, and healthcare industry
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality design execution.
  • Understanding of ADA compliance and accessibility guidelines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively in a team environment.
