Partner with the best

Manage transportation and related logistics of goods and services to and from internal and/or external customers/suppliers. Understand concepts, methods, procedures, and approaches.

As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for:

Coordinating with customs broker, freight forwarder, terminals import and export processes to grasp a flawless execution.
Analyzing import/export processes to determine methods for improving efficiency and reducing costs. Make sure imported/exported goods comply with government regulations and Company Policies.
Handling communication with internal customers about the importation and exportation status. Helping foster trusting relationships with vendors and team members.
Contributing to projects as a team member. Tracking products flow from origin to final delivery.
Supporting procedures review, to ensure maximum efficiency or minimum cost.
Conferring with logistics management teams to determine ways to optimize service levels, maintain supply-chain efficiency, or minimize cost.
Discussing business strategies, practices, or policies with managers. Monitoring organizational processes. Supporting on evaluation of vendor operations (e.g., freight forwarders) according to quality standards.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a Bachelor's degree
Have experience in Logistics and Customs
Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, relational databases and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
Demonstrate experience with importation of radioactive, explosive and chemicals.
Have knowledge of Customs regimes such Repetro Sped, Repetro Industrialização, Ex Tarifário request and control are a must.
Demonstrate interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to work independently, problem solving skills.

Desired Characteristics:

Be able to fluently speak and write in English and have excellent communication skills.
Be able to speak and write in Spanish.
Have working knowledge of Ecomex system.
