Partner with the best

As a Senior Well Engineer, you will be responsible for all the well engineering activities within a project or Center of Excellence according to guidelines and processes set out in the Integrated Well Services Management System. You will understand international and local standards, regulations and customer requirements. You will provide technical input to the well construction, completions, well intervention and abandonment phases, from the concept and tendering stage through project commencement, execution and project close out.

As a Senior Well Engineer - Completions, you will also be responsible for:

• Delivering well design, completions design, technical requirements, and operational plans to accomplish both Baker Hughes and customer’s technical and financial goals.
• Driving close engagement with service delivery, HSE, finance, commercial and sales and other Baker Hughes product lines.
• Providing technical input to the well construction, completions, well intervention and abandonment phases.
• Conducting feasibility studies and providing technical input to the commercial and procurement teams
• Ensuring the well design and well program is prepared and detailed procedures are provided to the execution team.
• Communicating effectively with well site/project stakeholders and make recommendations for flawless service delivery and operational excellence.

Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or Mechanical/Chemical Engineering
• Have relevant extensive work experience in well desing, construction, completions, intervention and/or optimization
• Have knowledge of infill, keeper, exploration, appraisal or wildcat well types
• Have a competency in lower completions and sand controls
• Demonstrate effective communication, interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence others and lead teams
• Be fluent in English and/or Norwegian language
