Baker Hughes Digital Technology team is looking for a motivated and proactive professional with exceptional skills in Microsoft SQL Server database development, optimization, and management. As a MS SQL Server Senior Developer your work will involve design, development, and maintenance of a robust SQL database(s) applications built on Rulestream platform. You will also be responsible for its performance, scalability and reliability.

Works independently and contributes to the immediate team and to other teams across business. You will also contribute to design discussions.

As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for:

Managing the databases with knowledge regarding the monitoring tools. Should have the Cloud Native knowledge (AWS and Azure) and methodology to migration of the Database on the Cloud.
Designing, developing and maintaining complex SQL databases, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
Performing advanced SQL query writing and optimization to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
Analysing and interpreting complex datasets to identify patterns and insights, supporting data-driven decision-making.
Implementing and managing database security measures.
Monitoring database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance tuning and optimization strategies.
Collaborating with application developers to integrate database solutions with application.
Conducting data modelling and design to ensure database structures meet application requirements and business needs.
Performing regular database backups, restorations, and recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or any other related field.
Have a minimum 8 years of experience in design, development, optimization, administration etc of MS SQL database, or any other database.
Have In depth understanding of RDBMS concepts
Have Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Have Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Have Experience with Rulestream at a DB design and structure level.
