JOB SUMMARY
This position will be located in Catoosa, OK.
The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that BayoTech high-pressure equipment product lines are manufactured in accordance with all technical requirements. S/he will also support and interface with other teams ensuring that quality standards are upheld and well documented for our high-pressure transportation products. The product line has an industry-leading position, and this role will drive continuous improvement in the customer experience by assuring conformance with industry and DOT standards.
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Quality Manager is expected to improve and further develop a robust quality program for the high-pressure equipment product lines manufactured at BayoTech’s facility in Tulsa (Catoosa), Oklahoma. This role works closely with supply chain, manufacturing, and engineering to assure the delivery of robust and reliable products.
  • Implement and maintain the QMS, ensuring the necessary controls are in place to govern the inspection and testing requirements.
  • Identify, develop, and implement appropriate QA/QC programs to reduce the cost of poor quality and improve compliance to regulations, standards, company objectives and customer requirements.
  • Embed and drive a culture of quality assurance and quality improvement.
  • Serves as the quality lead for products built internally and externally.
  • Generates and authors documents to support QA/QC activities, while ensuring that documentation is complete and compliant with requirements.
  • Owns all QA/QC activities related to BayoTech HPE product lines including but not limited to general assembly, high pressure gas equipment, high precision machined components, as well as large structural weldments.
  • Provide high quality training to new hires as well as existing colleagues to support and maintenance implementation of the quality program.
  • End-to-end quality oversight ranging from outside vendors, receiving inspection, in-process assembly inspections, through final inspections.
  • Owns all Quality KPIs, work with staff as necessary to enhance data capture and analysis in support of internal and external quality improvement and reporting efforts.
  • Implement process audits, and system audits to support periodic reviews for deficiency identification and correction.
  • Hosts customer audits of quality management system.
  • Maintains and manages accurate records of calibration certifications of manufacturing and testing equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualification) in a scientific or engineering discipline
  • 10+ years of work experience in gas processing, petrochemical, and/or refining equipment, and/or industrial manufacturing of associated components and systems which operate under elevated pressures.
  • Experience working in an ISO 9001 or equivalent QMS.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a quality team towards achieving organizational goals.
  • Demonstrable track record of implementation and business impact.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects in parallel.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Preferred:
    • Certification in Quality Engineering/Auditing/Improvement, Six Sigma, Project Management, or Lean.
