Your Role & Responsibilities
- Driving daily Hazmat, Tanker, LTL, or Bulk loads in the local area.
- Loading and/or unloading of bulk, drummed, or bagged material.
- Operate a forklift.
- Follow all operating procedures, and work instructions.
- Reports all non-conformances as they occur using proper forms.
- Performs all duties in a safe manner and follow all rules and regulations.
- Completes all training as required in the Regulatory/Compliance Training Program.
- Properly use materials such as labels, placards, stenciling and paint.
- Properly cares for and uses all equipment such as forklifts, drum handling equipment, pumps, hoses, etc.
- Secure dual sign off before transferring any product from one vessel to another.
Your Profile
Education and Experience:
- Must have current Class A CDL w/ Hazmat tanker endorsement and TWIC card.
- Minimum of 3 years commercial driving experience in industrial/Chemical environment preferred.
- Must be able to pass DOT physical and obtain MED card
- Must be able to sit and drive for long hours
- Must have ability to repeatedly bend. lift, push, pull and or move up to 100 lbs. using proper lifting techniques.
- Must be able to give and receive verbal and written instructions in English.
- Knowledge of DOT load securement regulations.
- Employment is contingent upon completion of background investigation, E verify check and pre-employment drug screen.
