MaintenanceJob Summary:
The Planning Supervisor will oversee CF Industries Planners and provide technical guidance for routine, shutdown, and project maintenance activities. This safety-sensitive role is key to ensuring safe, efficient execution of daily operations and driving cost-effective work practices. You will also lead safety meetings and promote CF’s safety culture and core values.This position reports to the Maintenance Superintendent and works onsite.
Job Description:
You Will:
- Lead planning and scheduling for routine, preventive, and turnaround maintenance activities, ensuring milestones and KPIs are met for safe, timely, and cost-effective execution.
- Supervise planners and assign work activities to meet operational needs, ensuring all required resources, parts, and safety criteria are identified.
- Develop and maintain job plans and work packages in the CMMS, incorporating labor, materials, equipment, services, and cost estimates.
- Monitor schedule compliance, report on performance metrics, and maintain readiness for unplanned outages.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve maintenance processes and ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support team development through coaching, feedback, and progress tracking, while resolving personnel issues as needed.
You Have
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 4 years of leadership experience in planning/scheduling within the chemical or petrochemical industry, covering one or more of the following:
- Routine/PM Planning
- Turnaround Planning
- Capital Project Planning
- Proficiency and experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), SAP preferred.
- Strong understanding of asset and project management; experience with maintenance scheduling software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, including overtime, callouts, and participation in the on-call rotation.
