ServiceNow Administrator

As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen AND an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance to be considered.

The ServiceNow Administrator plays a crucial role in analyzing, designing, developing, customizing, and supporting Mission Iraq’s ServiceNow solutions, while also providing technical training to end-users. This position involves identifying, refining, organizing, documenting, and implementing business processes for the mission, in collaboration with the senior project manager, customers, and other subject matter experts.

  • Estimated Starting Salary Range for ServiceNow Administrator: Pay commensurate with experience.

ServiceNow Administrator Responsibilities Include:

  • Provides application support for the configuration, customization, and administration of the ServiceNow ITSM Product Suite.
  • Offers application support for the configuration of platform capabilities, including Knowledge Management, Service Request Management, and Service Portal.
  • Deploys core functionality in an out-of-the-box ServiceNow system.
  • Generates workflows and integrations with the latest ServiceNow technologies.
  • Creates Automated Test Framework (ATF) tests associated with produced code.
  • Works as part of an agile scrum team, supporting story point estimation and managing stories through their lifecycle.
  • Manages multiple tasks by prioritizing based on client need and ensures quality standards and work performance.
  • Quickly adapts to the customer dynamic environment and fosters innovative ideas.
  • Designs, prototypes, implements, tests, and deploys business rules, technical solutions, and configurations on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Provides subject matter knowledge to the ServiceNow application and implements modules and third-party integrations.
  • Transforms business needs from the customer to tangible items within ServiceNow, from using available modules to creating new modules, and completes detailed documentation for workflows and services implemented within ServiceNow.
  • Works with process managers to understand business functionality, pain points, and areas of improvement.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

ServiceNow Administrator Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • • Minimum three years of recent experience as an analyst or developer with one year of hands-on experience developing and maintaining ServiceNow.
  • • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or a minimum eight years of equivalent work experience.
  • • ServiceNow Certified Administrator certification required.
  • • Extensive knowledge in ITIL and ITSM processes.
  • • Experience configuring and administering ServiceNow.
  • • Hands-on experience in ServiceNow Catalog/Service Portal modules.
  • • Ability to customize workflows, Business Rules, and UI Scripts using JavaScript.
  • • Demonstrated strength in problem-solving, process improvement, and change management.
  • • Experience with JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, and web service integrations.
  • • Strong interpersonal and team orientation skills.
  • • Passion for providing excellent customer service.
  • Desired Qualifications:
    • ITIL Intermediate certification.
    • Prior experience in a consulting environment, preferably within the public sector.
    • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification.
    • ServiceNow Certified Implementer certification in ITSM.
    • ServiceNow IT Business Management/Project and Portfolio Management experience.
    • Clearance Level Required: Secret
    • Ability to pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
