Job Description
Hard Rock Casino and Hotel is seeking a Casino Custodian to join our team. This team member will be responsible for maintaining a pristine and inviting casino environment. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning duties, including vacuuming, mopping, restroom sanitation, and cleaning gaming equipment. The Attendant ensures guest satisfaction by providing a clean, safe, and comfortable experience for all visitors.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, window washing, restroom cleaning, trash removal, and cleaning of office and back-of-house areas.
- Clean, sanitize, and disinfect gaming machines, chairs, tables, doors, toilets, sinks, and other frequently touched surfaces.
- Follow company guidelines for cleaning biohazardous spills and adhere to proper cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting procedures.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail in all work areas.
- Assist guests by answering questions and providing directions within the casino.
- Clean exterior areas of the property as needed.
- Operate heavy-duty cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and extractors.
- Participate in special cleaning projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 6 months of general work experience preferred, or High School Diploma/GED.
- Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
