Cherokee Casino Tahlequah is hiring an Inventory and Data Entry Associate to play a crucial role in managing inventory levels and ensuring the accuracy of inventory data. This position involves reviewing and recording all material movements, performing data entry, and collaborating with other departments to maintain efficient inventory control.
NOTE: This position is considered safety-sensitive and is subject to pre-employment and random drug testing. Please note that a positive drug test result, including for marijuana, may result in a job offer being rescinded for applicants or termination of employment for current employees, even if they possess a valid medical marijuana license.
Responsibilities
- Record and review all documents related to the movement of materials (receipts, deliveries, transfers).
- Verify the accuracy of all inventory documents and transactions.
- Process and file all necessary paperwork related to shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely material flow.
- Perform data entry into inventory management systems and other relevant databases.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory counts.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages or surpluses.
- Assist with inventory replenishment processes.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong data entry and typing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
