Job Description

The IT Developer will play a crucial role in modernizing Cherokee Nation Entertainment's (CNE) digital ecosystem and will work within an Agile Scrum environment to build and maintain a portfolio of solutions, including public-facing websites and apps, while also leveraging a high level of expertise in ServiceNow. This role is vital in automating workflows, creating custom applications, and enabling the business to stay ahead of digital trends to provide a personalized, high-value experience for guests.

Responsibilities

  • ServiceNow Development: Develop, customize, and maintain applications and workflows within the ServiceNow platform to automate business processes and streamline operations.
  • Architect and Develop: Assess, design, and create software with a strong understanding of architecture and design patterns.
  • CMS Management: Implement and maintain the Content Management System (CMS), including regular release schedules and new feature rollouts.
  • Collaboration: Work with business partners to understand requirements, prioritize user stories, and enable personalized digital experiences.
  • Full-Stack Development: Design secure and responsive web UI using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and build scalable back-end solutions with C# and .NET.
  • Integration and Security: Evaluate and implement integrations with existing systems and third-party applications. Incorporate best practices for security and performance throughout the solution.
  • Problem-Solving: Solve complex problems and implement cutting-edge solutions, contributing to team innovation and peer review.
  • Support: Provide ongoing support for the websites and mobile app, including operational requests.

Qualifications

  • Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, plus seven or more years as an enterprise software developer.
  • Technical Skills: At least five years of experience in a senior/lead role with Microsoft Full-Stack technologies including .NET, C#, and SQL Server.
  • ServiceNow Skills: Experience with the ServiceNow platform, including but not limited to scripting (JavaScript), workflow automation, and custom application development.
  • Required Knowledge: Experience with DevOps and CI/CD Pipelines is mandatory. Knowledge of technologies such as AJAX, JQuery, MVC, VSTS, PHP, HTML5, and XML/XSL is also required.
  • Other Skills: Working knowledge of Azure services, web app/API security (Oauth/JWT tokenization), and API testing tools like Postman. The ability to write and troubleshoot complex SQL queries is also essential.
