Job Description
Carver's on 19 is looking for a part-time Fine Dining Server Assistant. This position is focused on upholding cleanliness and sanitation standards within the steakhouse, specifically for all dishes and cooking tools. The Server Assistant is responsible for washing dishes both by hand and with an automated machine, as well as ensuring that food preparation areas remain clean and sanitary. The role also requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness for all glassware, flatware, chinaware, and miscellaneous cooking tools.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and glassware by hand and with an automated machine.
- Ensure food preparation areas are clean and sanitary.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to obtain a food handler’s card.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
