E-Games Technician Manager

Job Description

As the E-Games Technician Manager, you will lead a team responsible for the maintenance, repair, and performance of all electronic gaming machines (EGMs). This role involves hands-on technical expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to analyze data and make sound operational decisions. The ideal candidate will be proactive in problem-solving, committed to regulatory compliance, and capable of fostering a motivated, high-performing team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the E-Games Technical Department across multiple facilities.
  • Hire, train, coach, and evaluate E-Games Technicians and Supervisors.
  • Develop shift schedules and ensure adequate staffing coverage.
  • Manage departmental budgets, resources, and expenditures.
  • Ensure compliance with gaming regulations and internal policies.
  • Oversee the repair, modification, and preventative maintenance of gaming machines.
  • Maintain accurate EGM inventory records and current floor layouts.
  • Produce reports and analyze slot activity and performance data.
  • Coordinate equipment change activity and facilitate the sale of CNE-owned gaming products.
  • Lead departmental projects and participate in personnel actions such as performance reviews, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
  • Operate company vehicles between CNE properties as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; technical or electronics background preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of E-Games technician experience or equivalent electronics experience.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience in an E-Games Technical Department preferred.
  • Must possess IGT Associate Technician Certification and IGT Advanced E-Games Technician Certification (or be able to obtain them).
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between properties.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and data reporting.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain licensing through the appropriate gaming authority.
