This position is primarily performed on the casino floor, which involves exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise. The role requires physical exertion, including standing and/or walking for extended periods and the ability to lift and carry materials up to 75 lbs. The E-Games Technician I must be flexible to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

The E-Games Technician I is responsible for the execution of machine moves, game conversions, installations, and repairs of electronic gaming machines. This role requires technical skill, a focus on guest service, and the ability to work under the supervision of a higher-level technician.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with one year of previous E-Games or technical field experience (e.g., IT, electrical), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must have completed IGT Courses: MT321, MT412, MT413, and MT103.

  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.

  • Ability to pass a background check, pre-employment check, and random drug tests.

  • Ability to work well under pressure.


  • Execute machine moves, game conversions, and floor upgrades.

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on machines under the supervision of a higher-level technician.

  • Assist vendors with machine repairs as a liaison.

  • Demonstrate troubleshooting techniques and escalate problems when necessary.

  • Perform preventative maintenance on machines and assist in the repair of ticket redemption kiosks and ATMs.

  • Maintain an accurate parts inventory.

  • Respond to technician calls on the floor in a timely fashion.

  • Adhere to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies.

  • Ensure work is performed in a safe manner.
