Provide exceptional guest service by efficiently handling reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries, ensuring a positive and seamless hotel experience.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 month of guest service experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Basic written, communication, and computer skills.
- Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Record reservations received verbally or in writing and enter them into the hotel computer system.
- Quote rates and room availability according to established procedures.
- Process and cancel reservations following appropriate procedures.
- Answer telephones promptly and route calls or provide assistance to callers.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and efficient check-in, check-out, and reservation services.
- Inform guests of required information and answer questions about the resort and local area.
- Communicate and coordinate with coworkers, supervisors, and managers in all departments.
- Process accurate cash and credit card transactions.
- Promote the hotel/casino and its services and facilities.
- Work closely with Housekeeping, Group Sales, and VIP Services to meet guest needs.
