The Production Cook is responsible for preparing food items according to established standards and recipes. This position plays a key role in maintaining portion control, food quality, and presentation while supporting the overall efficiency of kitchen operations. The Production Cook ensures the consistent preparation, portioning, and presentation of high-quality food items. This role supports kitchen operations by following recipes, maintaining food safety standards, and promoting a clean, friendly, and efficient work environment.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1-year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to obtain a food handler’s card.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Comfort working in diverse environments such as kitchens, casino floors, and areas with exposure to smoke and noise.
- Prepare food for assigned venue in accordance with menu standards.
- Follow recipes and portion control to ensure consistency and quality.
- Maintain proper food presentation and timeliness of service.
- Store and handle food correctly to prevent waste and spoilage.
- Uphold cleanliness standards for kitchen operations, equipment, and tools.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment at all times.
