The Director of Sales is responsible for leading all Motorcoach and Tour & Travel sales efforts to achieve and exceed revenue goals for casino and hotel operations. This role oversees the development and execution of strategic sales plans, manages key client relationships, and drives group business through innovative programming and outreach. The Director also provides leadership and mentorship to the sales team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and a high standard of guest service.

Drive revenue growth by leading and expanding Motorcoach, Tour, and Travel sales initiatives. This role focuses on building strong client relationships, increasing group business, and overseeing strategic sales efforts while mentoring and developing the sales team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the hospitality or hotel industry; casino experience preferred
  • At least 5 years of sales experience and 5 years of leadership/management experience
  • Proven experience with Motorcoach programs and Tour & Travel markets
  • Strong understanding of hotel and casino operations
  • Ability to analyze group sales data and develop strategic insights
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a CNGC Gaming License

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to drive repeat and new business
  • Prospect for business through sales calls, telemarketing, trade shows, site visits, and networking opportunities
  • Develop and implement Motorcoach and Tour & Travel programs to increase group and overnight business
  • Create and execute strategic sales plans with clear goals and actionable steps
  • Achieve revenue targets including motorcoach volume, room nights, and overall sales goals
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and client correspondence; lead contract negotiations
  • Analyze sales and performance reports to identify trends and opportunities
  • Establish departmental budgets and manage expenses effectively
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members to enhance performance and engagement
  • Oversee hiring, performance management, and overall team direction
