The Event Support Specialist plays a key role in bringing events to life by assisting with logistics, setup, and on-site execution. This position works closely with multiple departments to ensure events run smoothly, from preparation through completion. Company:Cherokee Nation Entertainment
Supports the successful execution of events by assisting with setup, coordination, and guest engagement. Ensures a positive and seamless experience for both internal teams and external guests across a variety of entertainment, casino, and promotional events.
- High School Diploma or GED required; at least one (1) year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Work may be performed in office settings, casino floors (including exposure to smoke and noise), and outdoor environments
- Must be flexible to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Occasional travel, including overnight stays, may be required
- Assist with event setup and teardown for casino, theater, marketing, and sponsorship events
- Support box office operations, including ticketing and will call, as scheduled
- Ensure marketing materials, giveaways, and event supplies are prepared and delivered on time
- Engage with guests during events by distributing promotional items and providing information in accordance with policies
- Maintain awareness of current and upcoming promotions to effectively assist and direct guests
- Assist with inventory counts and organization of event materials
- Support large-scale events such as tradeshows, corporate functions, and group events as needed
- Collaborate with team members and departments to ensure smooth event execution
