The Smoke Shop Cashier provides fast, friendly, and professional guest service while accurately operating the cash register, managing product inventory, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. This role supports daily store operations to ensure a positive customer experience and a well-maintained facility.
• Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments with varying temperatures.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including cleaning, stocking, and standing for extended periods.
• Operate the cash register accurately and handle payments securely.
• Keep shelves and product displays fully stocked and organized.
• Restock coolers using product from the stockroom.
• Maintain cleanliness of counters, windows, doors, tobacco cartons, and shelving.
• Sweep interior floors and exterior walkways.
• Remove litter and debris from the parking lot and stockroom areas.
• Mop tile floors, clean restrooms, and replenish paper products.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
