The Supervisor Fleet and Distribution manages CNB fleet vehicles and distribution operations across multiple sites within the United States and internationally. This position oversees vehicle acquisition, maintenance, retirement, qualified drivers, insurance, and fleet-related financial processes while ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective operations. The supervisor also manages secure and timely inter-office mail and package distribution and provides leadership and support to department staff.

Oversee fleet operations and mail distribution for Cherokee Nation Businesses, including vehicle acquisition, maintenance, compliance, and driver management across domestic and international locations.
  • High School Diploma or GED and five years of fleet experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles, with strong analytical, quantitative, and financial analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and manage fleet database and fuel software systems.
  • Knowledge of applicable CNB, state, and Cherokee Nation laws, policies, procedures, and requirements.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex documents and contracts, solve problems, and manage multiple fleets and competing priorities.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and proof of insurability.

  • Oversee qualified drivers, company vehicle usage, mileage chargebacks, and rental vehicle processes.
  • Assist with fleet strategy, forecasting, vehicle acquisition, replacement, and retirement planning.
  • Coordinate with sourcing and operations to select vehicles that meet business needs and cost requirements.
  • Manage vehicle maintenance, repairs, registrations, insurance, and damage claims in collaboration with appropriate departments.
  • Oversee new vehicle setup, purchase order payments, capital asset notifications, and fleet software records.
  • Conduct audits of fleet and driver credit card transactions and support financial reporting and asset documentation.
  • Coordinate vehicle purchases, leases, maintenance bids, fuel cards, and other fleet enhancements.
  • Collaborate with IT to test and implement fleet software improvements and maintain fleet and fuel databases.
  • Ensure secure, effective, and timely collection and distribution of inter-office mail and packages.
  • Supervise department operations and provide input on hiring, performance, and employment decisions.
