JOB OBJECTIVE:

The Tube Roller rolls tubes, stabs tubes, assembles tubes, and conducts hydrostatic testing.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine tube specifications

• Rolls and stabs tubes into section

• Completes hydrostatic testing in accordance with standard work instructions

• Assembles tube and section components

• Documents hydrostatic tests results and assembly information on traveler

• Operates cranes

• Other duties as assigned/directed by supervisor

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• 6 months to 1 year experience in manufacturing, Heat Exchanger industry preferred

• Certified to operate crane and manlifts or ability to obtain certifications

• Detail oriented

• Self-motivated

• Must be able to work well in a team environment

• Ability to frequent, reach, lift, sit, stand, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, pull, squat, bend, and balance,

• Excellent hand-eye coordination

• Able to excel working on a team

• Work safely and look out for the safety of the team

• Keep a clean and hazard free workspace

• Follow JSA, work instructions, and use identified PPE

• Identify any defective items and handle them accordingly

• Use reason to solve problems

• Takes pride in work product and ensure quality work is completed daily

• Performs other related duties as assigned.
