JOB OBJECTIVE:

The Assembler performs tasks that are essential to production. The Assembler, working with a team, completes the assembly of the cooler, ensuring that it is customer ready.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Hand assembly of cooler components
• Uses hand and power tools to assembly components and the final completed cooler
• Studies blueprints, work orders, or schematics to plan and carry out tasks
• Test and disassembles assemblies for shipment
• Operates manlifts and cranes
• Other duties as assigned/directed by supervisor

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 6 months to 1 year experience in assembly in a manufacturing environment
• Aptitude of mechanics
• Self-motivated
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere
• Ability to work in tight or enclosed areas
• Ability to work at height 6 feet of the ground
• Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch
• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Work safely and look out for the safety of the team
• Keep a clean and hazard free workspace
• Identify any defective items and handle them accordingly
• Use reason to solve problems
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including standing for long periods
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs
• Follow JSA, work instructions, and use identified PPE
• Takes pride in work product and the final product that is shipped
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
