POSITION SUMMARY

The Hygienist at Flawless Smile Dentistry is a key member of the team, working closely with our dentists to ensure a dynamic and memorable patient experience. This role is responsible for the delivery of exceptional dental care through conducting initial patient screenings, cleaning teeth, and educating patients on oral health and preventative care. The Hygienist is the patient’s advocate throughout their dental experience, providing meaningful patient feedback with compassion.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

• Create a personalized and positive patient experience that leaves a lasting impression.
• Foster strong patient relationships to ensure a memorable and confident smile.
• Guide patients throughout their dental procedures, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
• Educate patients about their dental treatment plans, emphasizing the importance of home care.
• Efficiently schedule follow-up appointments, being mindful of potential scheduling conflicts.
• Proficiently identify dental conditions such as gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis for early intervention.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient documentation and charts.
• Collaborate proactively with team members to ensure a cohesive and supportive work environment.
• Thoroughly collect and record patient health history to inform treatment decisions.
• Solicit and compile patient testimonials to showcase our commitment to excellent dental care.

• Preferred background from a high production hygiene department, displaying adaptability and success in a dynamic environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Oklahoma Registered Dental Hygienist license, (Required or in Process)
• General Dentistry knowledge, (Required)
• Laser Certification (Preferred)
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of Hygiene experience, (Preferred)
• CPR, Nitrous and Local Anesthesia certifications (Required)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Requires the ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time
• Requires ability to occasionally lift up to 25lbs

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
