Job Description

SUMMARY

Manage, coordinate and oversee the physical drop and subsequent count activities for electronic games, table games, poker and ticket redemption terminal proceeds for all locations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

  • Manages and oversees Drop and Count Team management personnel and processes for all locations.
  • Develops policies and procedures to provide for a strong level of internal controls and funds protection.
  • Hires, trains, schedules and supervises department personnel, ensuring timely performance.
  • Coordinates with Gaming Commission as to route and timing of drop and count activities.
  • Ensures proper and efficient functioning of count equipment.
  • Maintains vendor relationships.
  • Coordinates construction needs for new facilities in line with needs of the property with respect to Drop/Count department.
  • Provides periodic inspection of Drop and Count areas at all facilities for compliance with regulations, policies and procedures, and best practices established for the department.
  • Communicates expectations to Drop and Count managers.
  • Ensures proper compliance with all rules, regulations, and guidelines set for each area.
  • Tracks key indicators for performance of department and perform analytics to provide recommendations to upper management for efficient performance and process improvement.
  • Provides expertise and counsel, as needed to all CNE locations.
  • Assists with the evaluation of new equipment and maintenance agreements.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

Supervise/manage a department and have authority over hiring/firing/performance decisions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 10 years of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not required. Must have Supervisory experience. Experience in the Cage, Drop/Count, or Gaming Operations required. At least 5 years of management experience required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to lead and guide others.
  • Ability to proficiently operate basic office equipment, computers, and basic computer programs utilized in daily operations (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Must have valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including overnight shift but mostly day shift.
  • Must be able to perform physical duties of job when needed.
  • Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Basic analytical skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.

Considerable exposure to smoke, extreme temperatures, dirt, chemicals, dust, and fumes.
