SUMMARY

Assist with IT installation projects such as wiring, cabling, and support structures. Escort and monitor vendors to and from secured project areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

• Assists with installation, termination, and testing of low voltage, fiber optic, and audio/video wiring and cable.
• Assists with installation of support structures (j-hooks, cable trays, cable ties, etc.).
• Escorts and monitors vendors to and from secured project areas.
• Loads and unloads trucks, moving supplies to proper locations and maintains a clean environment.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

No supervisory/management authority.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to learn commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Ability to work in a group environment or independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to demonstrate good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to be able to use small hand tools.
• Ability to distinguish colors.
• Ability to maintain a positive professional working relationship with vendors and co-workers.
• Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work may be performed in a variety of settings, including climate-controlled office settings, casino floors with exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise, outdoors with exposure to varying weather conditions, and racetracks with exposure to horses. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds. Work may require travel, including overnight stays. Work will require varied shifts including, weekends and holidays, as needed (on call).
