Steward Supervisor

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Tulsa, is seeking a Supervisor for our Stewarding Department. This isn't just a cleaning role; it's a vital supervisory position where your leadership and attention to detail directly impact our operational excellence. You'll be responsible for the seamless execution of all cleaning protocols, deep cleaning initiatives, and the training of your team. • Assign duties and tasks to culinary utility staff on your shift, ensuring efficient workflow.
• Oversee and maintain the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation across all kitchen(s) in the facility.
• Lead deep cleaning efforts for the facility, specific equipment, and culinary tools.
• Ensure strict adherence to all safety and sanitation standards and regulations, especially concerning chemical use.
• Provide comprehensive training to all employees, ensuring they are fully proficient in cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections of kitchens to identify and address any potential health code violations.
• Accurately check and document all dishwasher temperatures and sanitizer levels.
• Manage inventory and order necessary cleaning supplies to maintain operations.
• Provide hands-on assistance in the dish room when staffing is low.
• Collaborate effectively with other supervisors to ensure seamless communication and smooth operations across departments.
• Ensure dishwashers are thoroughly cleaned after each use.
• Monitor chemical levels and replace as needed.
• Perform other job duties as assigned, which may vary by work location.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and at least 1 year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven ability to lead and guide the work of other employees.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Must be able to maintain a positive and professional working relationship with both management and co-workers.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to perform constant standing and lifting.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable with frequent exposure to extreme cold, extreme heat, moisture, smoke, and various toxic/caustic chemicals.
• This is a safety-sensitive position and is subject to drug testing requirements.
