Step into the spotlight as our Wardrobe Supervisor at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino! We're seeking a style-savvy professional to be the heartbeat of our uniform department. This role is a perfect blend of creativity and relationship management.
You'll be the one to source show-stopping costumes for our casino promotions and special events, all while managing the entire uniform operation. You'll handle everything from tracking inventory and processing payroll deductions for uniforms and shoes to building strong relationships with vendors. Your day-to-day will include conducting weekly uniform inspections, managing the departmental budget, and developing policies that keep our team looking their best. Responsibilities
Manages inventory and tracks uniforms assigned to employees.
Collaborates with Cherokee Nation Entertainment (“CNE”) purchasing department in coordinating the purchase of uniforms.
Prepares uniform and shoe deduction reports for payroll; prepares and processes shoe invoices for employee payroll deduction.
Consults with leadership regarding quantity, size, and repairs needed to uniforms.
Maintains shoe purchase log.
Develops policies and procedures for department, including check out, return, lost, damaged, and uniform cleaning procedures.
Meets with and maintains relationships with vendors; requests samples from vendors to fulfill managers' uniform needs.
Researches, development, and sourcing of costumes and accessories of casino promotional attire for the showgirls and/or events.
Maintains and completes spreadsheets for dry-cleaning invoices to send to accounts payable.
Conducts weekly uniform inspections on the gaming floor and in the back of house.
Creates and manages departmental budget.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Knowledge of industrial sewing machines which includes serger blind hemmers and heat seal machines.
Excellent merchandising, presentation, and organization skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
High School Diploma or GED and 1-year of retail, hotel or hotel wardrobe experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work may be performed in a variety of settings, including climate-controlled office settings and casino floors which includes exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise. Work requires lifting objects up to 25lbs.
