The Part-Time Seasonal Racing Maintenance Equipment Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various heavy equipment, such as tractors and water trucks. In addition to driving, this role involves performing routine equipment maintenance to ensure all machinery is in proper working condition. The position requires a person who is comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, from heat to cold. The driver must also adhere to strict safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.

We are seeking a Racing Maintenance Equipment Driver to operate and maintain heavy machinery, including tractors and water trucks. This is a crucial role responsible for the upkeep and safety of our racing facilities. The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating heavy equipment and a good understanding of horse-related environments.
  • A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum of one year of related work experience.
  • Knowledge of operating heavy equipment is essential for this position.
  • Experience with or knowledge of working with horses is necessary.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license and licensing by the appropriate gaming/racing authority.
  • The ability to work in an outdoor environment with exposure to heat and cold is a must.

  • Operate and drive tractors, water trucks, and other heavy equipment as required for facility maintenance.
  • Perform routine maintenance on all assigned equipment to ensure operational readiness and safety.
  • Maintain safety procedures at all times and use proper personal protective equipment.
  • Handle objects up to 50 lbs. and be prepared for frequent standing, bending, and climbing.
