The Safety Manager assists in developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive safety programs that align with organizational and regulatory standards. This role plays a key part in driving safety awareness, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and proactively identifying opportunities to improve workplace safety. The Safety Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams, leads safety initiatives, and maintains a visible presence in the field to reinforce a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Supports the development and execution of safety programs to ensure a safe, compliant, and proactive work environment. Partners with leadership and employees to reduce risk, prevent workplace injuries, and promote a strong culture of safety across assigned properties.
  • Associate degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • ASP or CSP certification preferred
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, fire codes, and building codes
  • Ability to research and resolve safety-related issues
  • Experience developing safety programs, policies, and procedures
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to train and influence diverse audiences
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement preventative solutions
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required gaming licenses
  • Comfortable working in environments with potential hazards and varying conditions

  • Develop, update, and maintain safety plans, policies, and procedures
  • Conduct and/or oversee monthly safety inspections across assigned properties
  • Coordinate and deliver safety training for employees and leadership
  • Identify risks and implement corrective actions to improve workplace safety
  • Investigate incidents, analyze trends, and determine root causes
  • Prepare and maintain accurate incident reports and documentation
  • Lead or support safety committees and safety-related initiatives
  • Assist with implementation of Safety, Health & Environmental Management Systems
  • Support emergency preparedness efforts, including drills and response coordination
  • Compile and report safety metrics, inspection findings, and compliance data
  • Assist with regulatory compliance, audits, and inspections
  • Supervise team members and contribute to hiring, performance, and disciplinary decisions
  • Maintain a visible presence on-site to promote safety awareness and engagement
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
