The Apprentice Electrician supports licensed electricians in day-to-day electrical installations, maintenance, and repair tasks. This role is hands-on and designed to help build skills, knowledge, and experience in the electrical trade while ensuring safe and efficient job-site operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in construction, maintenance, or labor work preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow detailed instructions.
- Strong communication and customer service skills when interacting with clients or vendors.
- Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technical skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with supervisors and team members.
- Ability to obtain and maintain any required certifications or licensing.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in environments with exposure to extreme temperatures, dirt, chemicals, and dust.
- Assist electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment.
- Transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from work locations.
- Prepare work areas and gather necessary supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization on job sites, removing debris and potential hazards.
- Follow safety guidelines and uphold safe work practices at all times.
- Clean, inspect, and maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Perform basic tasks such as pulling wire, assembling components, and operating hand/power tools as trained.
- Complete additional duties assigned by supervising electricians.
