The Seasonal Pool Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to pool guests while creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere. This position requires excellent customer service, knowledge of beverage preparation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced outdoor setting. The Seasonal Pool Bartender maintains a clean and organized bar, follows all alcohol service regulations, and ensures guests receive prompt, friendly service throughout the pool season.

The Seasonal Pool Bartender provides exceptional beverage service in a fun, energetic outdoor pool environment by preparing and serving high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. This seasonal position delivers outstanding guest experiences while ensuring responsible alcohol service, maintaining cleanliness, and promoting a safe and enjoyable atmosphere.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of bartending experience in a bar, restaurant, resort, hotel, pool, or entertainment venue preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Knowledge of standard cocktail recipes, beer, wine, and spirits.
- Excellent guest service and communication skills with the ability to work in a high-energy, outdoor environment.
- Ability to accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS systems.
- Ability to obtain a Food Handler's Card.
- Ability to successfully complete alcohol awareness training.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required gaming and alcoholic beverage licenses.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, frequently bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, and direct sunlight.
- Must be available to work a seasonal schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Comfortable working in environments with loud music, large crowds, and occasional exposure to secondhand smoke in adjacent casino areas.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Provide friendly, prompt, and attentive service to pool guests while creating an enjoyable guest experience.
- Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and responsible beverage service policies.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and refuse service when appropriate in accordance with company policies and state regulations.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and accurately process guest payments.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels by stocking beer, liquor, mixers, garnishes, ice, and bar supplies throughout the shift.
- Prepare garnishes, mixes, and bar supplies before service.
- Keep the pool bar, service areas, and equipment clean, organized, and fully sanitized throughout the shift.
- Wash, sanitize, and restock glassware, cups, utensils, and bar equipment.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with servers, barbacks, supervisors, and other team members to ensure efficient service.
- Promote a fun, safe, and welcoming pool environment while delivering exceptional guest service.
