A. Job Summary:

-Customer Service Representative is responsible for assisting insurance customers with various needs, assisting the insurance agent/agents in processing new and renewal commercial and personal insurance risks, and other various office duties as required by the agency manager.

B. Responsibilities/Duties:

• Assist agents with processing new personal and commercial insurance risks, as well as process renewals.
• Assist insurance customers with various needs, including but not limited to: providing information concerning their policies, preparing documents for the customer, taking payments, providing personal insurance quotes.
• Assist with various office duties to include:
• New policy/new customer processing
• renewal processing
• receptionist duties
• filing/ efiling
• other duties as deemed by the agency manager

C. Organizational Relationships -the CSR is supervised by the agency manager, and has no supervisory responsibilities

D. Experience -as required by the agency manager and/or principal

E. Educational Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Must hold and maintain valid Oklahoma Insurance Agent’s license, or acquire within 4 months from date of hire with the assistance of the agency.
• General office skills, computer skills, reception skills including personable, and the ability to work closely with other office staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to manage and balance multiple tasks.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft office applications.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Strong attention to details and accuracy of work performed and produced.

F. Physical Work Demands -Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer station.
