As a portable sanitation route specialist, your job will revolve around driving a company vehicle to assigned locations for servicing of a variety of portable restrooms and portable sanitation products. We are seeking a driver with an outstanding record to ensure equipment is properly cared for. The job also requires physical labor and attention to detail. If you are someone who enjoys working hard outdoors, working mostly independently and looking after “the details”, this job is for you!

Occasional customer interaction and quality customer service is expected. Experience driving a large service vehicle is preferred but not required, we will train the right candidate. When needed you will be expected to fill in with other team crews to accomplish any necessary company tasks.

Qualifications

• Physical job, requiring lifting of 70 or more pounds, bending, twisting, and repetitive movement in a fast-paced environment
• Drug screen and physical check required
• Valid driver's license (Class D)
• Good driving record for the last 3 years
• Good map reading skills
• Ability to use good judgment and think independently, while maintaining an aptitude for safety in your work environment
• Ability to work independently and be flexible regarding work assignments
• Well organized and motivated with a commitment to quality of work
• High school diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

This position will have a lot of driving throughout the day, but no overnight travel. A flexible schedule is required. Our standard hours are Monday-Friday, however some events and emergencies may require weekend and holiday time.

• Drive safely to assigned locations to service (including pumping and cleaning) portable restrooms, hand wash stations, and pumping of holding tanks
• Washing and cleaning portable restrooms, maintaining/organizing supply yard, and repairing of portable restrooms
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to provide the highest level of cleanliness
• Ability to think on the spot and help resolve any issues that may arise in a positive, friendly and professional manner
• Responsible for daily truck inspections and to report needed repairs or service for maintenance of truck
• Complete daily route reports, pictures and pickup/delivery paperwork as required
• Communicate benefits of service to potential customers
• Other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor
