We seek a Manager, Credit Policy with a passion for evaluating the more complex areas of mortgage transactions. We move fast and think big, and we need a production-oriented manager to support that mission.

About the role

As a Manager, Credit Policy your role will be to:

· Design and build the necessary job aids and processes needed to complete these tasks,

· Build out and manage a team of seasoned mortgage professionals who will be responsible for:

o Second Level File Reviews of:

§ New Underwriters

§ Targeted Underwriters (Performance Improvement Plans)

§ Jumbo Loans

§ New Products

o Elevated Appraisal Reviews

o Reconsiderations of Appraised Values

o Completion of Full Condo Project Reviews

o Reviews and approvals of Full Revocable Living Trust Reviews

o Reviews and approvals of Powers of Attorney

o Reviews and approvals of Leasehold Land Documents

o Reviews and approvals of Solar Panel documentation

· Design, build and manage a database of Full Condo Project reviews and HOA documentation

· Design, build and manage a tracking system for Escrow Holdbacks and Advances on Construction Type loan programs (FNMA Homestyle, FHLMC ChoiceRenovation and FHA 203K)

Other duties include:

· Provide support, guidance and training as needed.

· Recommend additional processes to align with team goals.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $105,900.00 - $169,100.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

Highly organized with a detailed and thorough knowledge of investor requirements.

· Experience interpreting guidelines and the ability to operationalize them.

· Advanced problem solving skills and operational improvement skills.

· Ability to work independently and as a team member while using discretion in decision making

· Effective time management skills with the ability to organize, prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

· Identify and manage high risk loans for resolution when needed.

· 5+ years of experience working in mortgage lending with strong focus on underwriting and/or processing.

· B.A. or B.S in business or equivalent work experience required

· Solid interpersonal skills to ensure issues are managed in a fair and orderly manner
