About the role

As the Manager, Business Operations, you will lead initiatives that optimize workflows, improve forecasting, and drive cross-functional collaboration within the Rentals business. Your work will directly impact operational efficiency, customer experience, and the scalability of our rental platform. This is an opportunity to make a measurable difference by building processes that power one of the leading rental marketplaces.

You Will Get To

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Business Operations team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.

  • Analyze, streamline, and automate workflows to increase revenue and enhance the user experience.

  • Design and manage an Issue Management Program to coordinate resolution efforts and track impacts.

  • Partner with technology, product, and sales teams to build scalable tools and optimize end-to-end workflow processes.

  • Develop and manage a quarterly roadmap of operations projects aligned with company goals, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure impact.

  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), enablement materials, and training to drive consistency and operational excellence.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify gaps, implement improvements, and lead change initiatives with clear documentation and stakeholder alignment.

  • Proactively identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect business continuity and brand consistency.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $107,000.00 - $171,000.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • 4 - 8+ years of leadership experience in business operations or related functions.

  • Proven ability to manage and develop small teams.

  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of improving business processes.

  • Proficient in project management and cross-functional coordination.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience with business tools such as Salesforce, business intelligence (BI) platforms, and workflow automation.

  • Detail-oriented with a passion for driving efficiency and continuous improvement.

  • Experience in real estate, rentals, or customer-centric operations is a plus.

  • Familiarity with product development, technology collaboration, and regulatory/compliance standards is preferred.
