We are looking for an experienced Industrial Painter to join our team at our fabrication facility in Catoosa, Oklahoma. This role is responsible for preparing surfaces, applying epoxy and urethane coatings, ensuring quality finishes, maintaining a safe and organized work area, and assisting with general maintenance and material handling as needed. The shift is 10 hours a day, Monday through Thursday, with Fridays as needed.
Essential Job Functions:
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including pressure washing, sanding, masking, and cleaning.
- Apply coatings using brush, roller, and spray methods in accordance with specifications and safety standards.
- Work with industrial-grade coatings, including epoxies and urethanes.
- Ensure all coatings operations are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Read and interpret work orders, specifications, and safety data sheets (SDS).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools, equipment, and materials.
- Inspect finished work to ensure proper surface preparation, coverage, and finish quality.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Perform light concrete or surface repair work as required.
- Assist with other general labor or maintenance tasks as assigned by supervision.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and ensure project completion.

Qualifications:
- Ability to safely perform industrial painting tasks, including surface preparation and coatings application.
- Ability to commute/relocate: reliable transportation required
- Basic knowledge of painting tools, equipment, and materials (brush, roller, spray gun, etc.)
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and follow established coatings and safety procedures.
- Employment for this role is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and MVR check, drug screening, and physical exam, in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Physical Demands:
This position requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in an industrial environment. Employees must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb for extended periods. The role involves lifting and carrying materials and equipment up to 50 pounds. Work may require exposure to varying temperatures, dust, fumes, and noise levels. Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, gloves, and safety glasses, is required. The employee must be able to safely operate tools, spray equipment, and forklifts, and maintain focus while performing repetitive or detail-oriented tasks.
