Video Banker (Virtual Teller)

Position Summary:
Video Banker provides support to all branches that maintain an Interactive Banker Machine. Accept remote assistance requests as well as provide overrides for customer transactions when needed. Responsible for providing excellent customer service and promoting bank products/services while processing transactions and paying out funds in accordance with bank procedures, regulatory and legal compliance requirements. Individual also assists the Branch Automation Supervisor with any additional duties as needed.
Essential Functions:
- Obtain customer identification, signature and any other necessary pieces of customer information and record all transactions according to regulations and procedures.
- When assisting with a remote request examine check or other documents submitted for the transaction in order to guard against bank loss.
- Professionally assist customers with concerns and/or questions that may be discussed during the transaction and refer to Supervisor or other departments as needed.
- Work towards achieving continued satisfaction and retention of existing customers by promoting and educating about products that will further benefit their banking experience with RCB Bank.
- Assist the Retail Operations Support Department and/or Corporate Retail Coordinator with tasks, reports, projects, and deadlines as needed.
Experience Required:
- Customer service and cash handling experience required.
- Two years’ experience in banking preferred.
Education, Certifications and Specialized Training:
High school diploma or GED

- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, co-workers, management
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must exhibit positive attitude, self motivation to tasks, and an aptitude for problem solving
- Ability to learn products and services RCB offers to assist customers.
- Basic clerical and process skills.
- Strong reading, writing and mathematical skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Intuitive and responsive to the needs of their staff and customer base.
