Position located on-site, not remote.
Hours: 2:30pm to 10:30pm, Monday-Friday
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for handling the daily back up processing for RCB Bank, RCB Holding Company, RCB Service Corp, Training Center, and SAVIFS along with monthly and end of year backups. This position also provides quality support to internal RCB Bank employees by providing tier one coverage for the Information Technology telephone help desk. Must be able to multi-task multiple problems while trying to isolate individual issues and work with internal system operations, application development and vendors to resolve problems. Responds to inquiries and resolving problems associated with voice response system, computer hardware/software, DVRs, printers, scanners, other equipment as needed and core business applications. Must retain ownership of issues from initiation through resolution using the escalation process, when appropriate, to move issues to the appropriate internal support group or external vendor for resolution
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for the End of Day (EOD) processing of multiple banks on the Jack Henry SilverLake System.
- Opens service tickets, monitors error resolution, and notifies appropriate personnel of processing errors or messages during EOD processing.
- Completes processing log and follows up on unresolved processing issues.
- Varying computer system and printers off and scheduling system back on for next business day.
- Responsible and ensures that nightly backups, on the iSeries are completed and documented. Tape and virtual tape rotation management is an assigned task
- Create and update procedure manuals and documentation for all activities.
- Assist with the administration of branch and departmental software applications, patches, anti-virus updates and software updates.
- Prepares hardware for distribution to individuals. Images, maintains and distributes PC’s, laptops and other devices utilized at RCB Bank.
- Analyze recurring problems and communicate trends and inconsistencies to management
- Troubleshoots network access problems; support Vertex application, monitor system error messages; assist website administration; post messages & images on SharePoint site; assist SharePoint site administration.
- Assists administer with security profiles for the network (Active Directory), Outlook, AS400/JHA system and physical security of data center.
- Ability to provide application and/or technical solutions to business problems to meet customer/business unit needs.
- Skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize efforts and manage time/personal workload in accordance with business needs
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Banking experience preferred but not required.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS & TRAINING:
High school diploma or GED required.
