Floater (Teller/CSR)

Typical Floater Locations: Inola, Catoosa, Coweta, BA, Union and Pryor.
Schedule: Monday thru Friday and some Saturdays.
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for providing back-up Teller/CSR support to branches that are short-handed on staff. Work location will vary based on branch need. Responsible for tasks associated with Teller and CSR roles.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Obtain customer identification, signature and any other necessary pieces of customer information and record all transactions according to regulations and procedures.
2. Examine cash, check or other documents submitted for the transaction in order to guard against bank loss.
3. Professionally assist customers with concerns and/or questions that may be discussed during the transaction and refer to Supervisor or other departments as needed.
4. Work towards achieving continued satisfaction and retention of existing customers by promoting and educating about products that will further benefit their banking experience with RCB Bank.
5. Balance drawer at the end of shift and report any outages to Teller Supervisor.
6. Opens and closes accounts, accepts deposits to CD’s and IRA’s.
7. Performs updates and changes to accounts as warranted.
8. Orders checks, debit cards, for customers and other products and services as offered.
9. Scans daily work to Quality Assurance department.
10. Greet and assist customers in a prompt, professional and courteous manner.
11. Must travel as required based on branch needs as directed by management. (This may require overnight travel depending upon location of the branch).
Floaters will be required to work a minimum of (1) year in this position before posting for positions outside of the Floater position.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum one (1) year of proven customer service experience. Customer service and cash handling experience. Previous experience in banking and knowledge of banking processes.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS & TRAINING:
High school diploma or GED required.
