Industrial Maintenance Technician Pay: $18–$22/hour, Based on Experience

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM–12:00 PM (Half Day)

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and facility systems. This role is critical to ensuring equipment reliability and minimizing downtime through both preventive and corrective maintenance. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic expertise and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery, tools, and facility systems.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate maintenance records.
  • Collaborate with production teams to enhance equipment performance and reduce downtime.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and request supplies as needed.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and perform effective troubleshooting.
  • Support general facility maintenance including lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and structural repairs.

Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of mechanical systems including motors, conveyors, pumps, and gearboxes.
  • Proficiency in electrical systems, including reading schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Skilled in the safe use of hand and power tools.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or on-call shifts as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Hands-on experience with manual machine shop tools for fabrication and repair.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in elevated or confined spaces.

Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and manual dexterity.

Working in environments with noise, dust, and varying temperatures
