| Job description: Sofidel America of Inola, OK is currently seeking a Pulp Feeding Operator in Paper Mill Dept. We are searching for a candidate who is local to the area and is looking for a long-term role in a stable environment. Your expertise will make you an important part of our team! Schedule: 2-2-3, rotating, 12 hour shifts from 6 to 6. Pulp Feeder Operator SCOPE: Perform functions, assisting the paper machine leader and shift supervisor, to ensure safe, efficient, and productive operation of the paper mill and identify and resolve operating and equipment issues guided by precedent and working within the limits of established policies. TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED: Clamp truck, hoist, wrapper, hand tools, test devices and computerized machine controls. Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training. Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and quality and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. PPE will include safety shoes, eye and ear protection, reflective vests and hairnets or hats along with any other necessary protection. Temperatures in the plant/warehouse can range a great deal from season to season. The employee will be exposed to paper dust and employees will also be exposed to noise levels that will require hearing protection.
