At TC Transcontinental, we’ve got it made, and that's because of the expertise of our team. We are currently looking for a full-time Laminator Operator to support production at our Lenexa plant. Essential to TC Transcontinental Packaging operations, the Laminator Operator performs is responsible for operating film laminating machine to produce material with the highest degree of quality at high output with the lowest possible cost and with a minimum of scrap.

Shifts: Friday-Saturday-Sunday 7am to 7pm
Work 36 hours get paid for 40!

When your actions lead to success.
  • Prepare laminator for start-up by ensuring that glue ratios are precise, rollers and machine are clean, and no scratches are present.
  • Complete quality control report for each roll of film produced.
  • Report any equipment or material problems to team/team leader immediately for prompt correction of problem.
  • Participate in general clean-up for following shift change.
  • Clean each roll rack before it leaves your work area.
  • Responsible for all in process inspection, communicating any possible defects to downstream processes.
  • Communicate issues to other departments via roll tags, comments in digital format and/or signage on rolls.
  • Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards.

When your expertise drives us.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to mechanically lift heavy loads in a safe way – up to 70 lbs.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing setting operating machinery
