The Tulsa Port of Catoosa is a combination of a multi-modal water transport complex and a 2,000-acre industrial park. Each day, freight shipping products move through the Port by barge, truck, and rail. The Tulsa Port of Catoosa's transportation assets include the waterfront docks and terminals and the 1.5-mile private channel on which they are located. The Tulsa Port of Catoosa is home to multiple fertilizer distributors, industrial gas suppliers, and handles bulk freight and shipping. The Tulsa Port of Catoosa has helped companies increase profit margins by saving on shipping costs. Companies can transport three bushels of grain from Tulsa to the Gulf Coast for the price of a first-class postage stamp by using the waterway. Companies are also able to ship oversized products with ease by using barges. One barge can hold as many as 15 rail cars or 60 truckloads.
