Material Handler/Loader driver/ForkliftLocation: Verdigris, OK
Join our dynamic team at a leading global trader and distributor of metals, serving a diverse range of industrial and manufacturing clients worldwide. As a Material Handler/Forklift, you will play a crucial role in our fast-paced warehouse and distribution operations.
Job Summary:In this position, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, and unload a variety of materials and products. You will also assist with inventory management, order fulfillment, and other warehouse-related tasks to ensure the efficient flow of goods through our distribution center.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate a loader loading trucks, and forklift experienced, plus and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload materials and products- Perform inventory control and management tasks, including cycle counts and product inspections- Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping to meet customer demands- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the warehouse- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
Qualifications:- Experience operating forklifts and a loader and other material handling equipment- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions- Proficient in basic warehouse and inventory management tasks- Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 lbs-
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
Working Conditions:This position is based in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Working Days: Monday through Thursday 6PM-3AM. Sunday 2PM-11PM.Requirement – Loader & forklift driving expertise, Must be able to load trucks with a loader. Attention to details, hardworking, self-disciplined, zero absenteeismPaperwork processing and computer skills- emails, MRP, Excel
