Maintenance TechPay: Depends on Experience
Job Summary: Perform routine and extensive range of work in the repair and general maintenance of facilities, grounds and equipment. Execute work within established procedures and processes under both verbal and written instructions. Perform preventative maintenance measures. Diagnose machine problems and repair.
Duties and Responsibilities:Multi-skilled with expertise in electrical, electrical controls, mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics and fabrication. Working and practical knowledge of plant utility systems (bulk gas piping, compressed air systems). Working knowledge of PLC’s, VFD’s Servo’s and plant automation systems. Ability to add, subtract, multiply all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Work various shifts and on call when needed Handle multiple assignments simultaneously with associated deadlines. Read and interpret work orders, safety rules, mechanical and electrical drawings, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to fill out routine reports, correspondence documents and to speak effectively when conveying information to other employees. Working knowledge of computer system input, retrieval and use or the ability to learn in a reasonable training period.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree or two-year technical school in the field of manufacturing technology or equivalent technical studies a plus. Three to five years previous maintenance experience a plus. Maintenance training documentation a plus. Previous experience with industrial controls using Allen Bradley control platforms, Motor Controls (Servo and VFD) a definite plus. Should have good written and verbal communication skills
