Job Summary:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our packing and shipping operations by ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of our facilities, equipment, and systems. You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing various components to keep our operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on our facility's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Troubleshoot and repair issues with manufacturing equipment, machinery, and other facility assets
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure the longevity of our equipment
- Collaborate with the operations team to identify and address any maintenance-related concerns
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and work orders
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment
Qualifications:
- Experience in facility maintenance or manufacturing maintenance
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
Working Conditions:
This position may involve physical labor, such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, in an industrial manufacturing environment. A valid driver's license and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends, may be required.
Compensation and Benefits:
This is a temporary-to-hire position with a competitive pay rate. Upon successful completion of the temporary period, the opportunity for a full-time, permanent role with a comprehensive benefits package may be available.
